Shaft parts often depend on diameter control, fitted bearing areas, thread accuracy, surface finish, and straightness. These features should be marked clearly on drawings.
Stainless steel can be tougher to machine than aluminum, so geometry, tolerance, surface finish, and material grade should be checked before quotation.
